COMPANION PROGRAM


Welcome guests, spouses, children, friends and family to the Companion Program for the 2012 International Symposium on EMC! We have activities planned that will make your visit enjoyable. The Companion Program is your chance to get out and see the greater Pittsburgh area and meet old and make new friends.  Some parts of the program are free and other parts such as the tours and access to the social program involve a fee.   We are still putting together the details, so please check back soon for more information.

In 2003 Carnegie Science Center was recognized for its exceptional level of community service with the National Award for Museum Service, the highest honor of its kind, at a White House ceremony with First Lady Laura Bush.



Fallingwater

Fallingwater

America’s most famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, designed Fallingwater for his clients, the Kaufmann family.  It instantly became famous, and today it is a National Historic Landmark. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is entrusted to preserve Fallingwater for generations to come.
